As a Certified Peer Support Specialist you will be responsible for providing essential expertise and consultation to the entire interdisciplinary Peer Support team to promote a culture in which each individual's point of view and preferences are recognized, understood, respected and integrated into treatment, rehabilitation, and community self-help activities while serving as an advocate for clients.

• Works in conjunction with Employment Specialist to supply comprehensive support and coaching to participants

• Willingness to provide peer-recovery education

• Assists peers with assessing their unique strengths and abilities

• Helps peers with identifying, developing, and working toward recovery goals

• Assists peers with developing self-advocacy skills

• Helps peers identify and access appropriate professional resources

• Acts as a community liaison

• Provides education for team members regarding the recovery process

• Assists in implementing and developing treatment goal plans

• Sits in case management meetings

• Provides care and resources for clients and staff on culture

• Serves as a link to community resources, teaches and models client self-advocacy, and acts as a community liaison/educator

• Reports significant/major incidents or accidents

• Medication administration

• Adheres to data privacy practices/HIPAA

• Writes progress notes, and assists in summaries and discharges

• Monitors and records medication administration activities

• Provides objective verbal and written critical incident analysis

• Documents essential activities related to licensure, welfare, and safety

• Other duties as assigned

Qualified Mental Health Manager

We are seeking a Mental Health Professional / Program Manager to join our team who are passionate about making a difference and improving the quality of life for adults! We are seeking qualified applicants who will provide recovery-oriented rehabilitation services in group or individual settings.

• Establish open lines of communication for individuals with mental or emotional issues

• Offer assistance to individuals with substance abuse issues

• Provide prevention-oriented therapy

• Implement and review treatment plans

• Collaborate with additional treatment providers and placement agencies

• Oversight of the day to day operations and provide supervision to staff for our Mental Health Skill Building Department or Crisis Stabilization Department.

• Provide direct guidance in crisis situations, dilemmas or other challenging clinical situations for designated department (i.e. Mental Health Skill Building or Crisis Stabilization).

• Develop, plan and implement strategies for program continuation and growth.

• Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner Qualifications:

• Previous experience in mental health counseling or other related fields

• Familiarity with community mental health resources

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills

• Ability to build rapport with clients

• Provide clinical consultation and oversight to designated department (i.e. Mental Health Skill Building or Crisis Stabilization Department).

• Must have the ability to solve problems and have good decision-making skills, including critical thinking skills.

• Strong leadership qualities
